Officially incorporated in 1973, the town of Harrisburg holds plenty of opportunities for celebration, recreation, and experiencing Cabarrus County like a local.
Harrisburg knows how to celebrate the holidays! Hop to the Movie provides Easter fun, and summer brings the July 4th Celebration featur ing amusements, live music, two nights of fireworks, and a highly anticipated Independence Day parade. Trick or Treat in the Park is always a spooktacular good time, and counting down during the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a core memory.
More of the town’s special events celebrate history and heritage. Connect through arts and culture during events like the Art Walk and an nual Harrisburg Multicultural Festival, both brimming with handmade wares, music and more.
